In our family, Christmas morning we like to get out of bed, open all the presents, and then make a nice big Christmas breakfast. Now, to be clear, big in our house means not cereal or toaster waffles. But still… we want something that is going to fill us up so we don’t have to eat again until late afternoon for a more traditional Christmas dinner.

Need a new Christmas breakfast idea?

That said, I am a bit tired of doing the same two Christmas breakfast ideas every single year. I mean, I am all for Christmas traditions, but I am a bit tired of cooking up eggs, bacon, pancakes and hashbrowns every year. So I scoured the web looking for new ideas for Christmas breakfast this year and here are some of the ones I have found and am thinking about making.

I love that most of these are super simple to make, but all of them are things my entire family will be willing to eat. I don’t want to fight with my kids to try new foods on Christmas morning about how many bites they need to take of their breakfast.

Which one of these recipes would you be making for Christmas breakfast in your house? Let me know in the comments below.
