I know, I know, it feels like Summer just barely started, but believe it or not, our local schools that are on the year round “track” (schedule) start in one month! Maybe your kids go back in a month, maybe you will be starting homeschool, or maybe you don’t start until after Labor Day. Either way, a count down to their new school year is always a great way to get kids excited and motivated for school to start (as well as make them realize how quickly summer is going by on those days they whine about how bored they are).
Today I want to share with you a free printable back to school countdown I made. It is a really simple countdown that let’s your kids color in each day. Plus, as an added bonus I have a list for the last 2 weeks of activities to help the kids get back into school frame of mind by completing a simple task each day.
This simple printable is great for any age as younger kids can color it in, older kids can color it, or even ex-out the countdown. The task list is more aimed towards elementary school age kids, but it might give you some ideas for older kids as well.
