Jungle Safari Trail Mix is perfect for safari themed parties, trips to the zoo, and even a trip to Disney (Jungle Cruise).
The Goof is in charge of snack this week at preschool. They like to have you tie the snack in with the theme that week. This week’s theme is J is for Jungle. So I needed something that started with a J or something that was J themed. I wracked my brain and aside from Jello, and Jam, I couldn’t come up with much that start with J so I went for the Jungle theme. I was wandering the aisles at the super market and saw animal crackers and I came up with this idea for a Jungle Safari Trail Mix.

It is super simple to make, and like any trail mix you can kind of mix it up based on your personal preference, but I am going to share with you what we put in ours. One of the ingredients I wanted to share a picture of is this dried fruit mix as it is a tropical blend, so you can see what is in it.

Tropical dried fruit and other ingredients make this super fun Jungle Safari Trail Mix

You might be able to purchase all of those dried fruits separately, but I refer to this package of dried tropical fruit in the recipe so I wanted to show you what it looks like.
This Jungle Safari Trail Mix would be perfect for an animal or safari themed party, as well as maybe part of a group of Disney themed snacks (Jungle Cruise anyone?). This is also a great project for your kids to do as it requires zero baking, and is basically mixing it in a bowl. You can then portion it out if desired, but if it is for a party leaving it in a serving bowl is perfectly fine too.

I hope you enjoy this Jungle Safari Trail Mix. If you try it out let me know what you think, and what you put in yours!
