One thing I love about Disneyland is that there are lot of free souvenirs you can get in the parks. Did you know that? (If not check out this post about everything you can get for FREE during your visit) Same with Walt Disney World. One of our favorite free souvenirs is the buttons you can get in the parks. They have them for everything from anniversaries to birthdays, to first visits, and more. There are special ones handed out by cast members or given at character meals, etc. We love the, but what do you do with all those Disney souvenir buttons after you get home?
Right away I knew that I needed these magnets, but I wasn’t sure what I was going to use them for. One day I was cleaning out my closet and I found our box of Disney Souvenir Buttons and had a brilliant idea to turn them into magnets that we could then display on our fridge.
All you need to do this craft is magnets, your Disney souvenir buttons and a hot glue gun.
Fabulous idea!!!!
Great idea!! I was engaged at Disney World and honeymooned at Disney Land so we have our special pins–buuutttt, they are packed away in shoe boxes 🙁 I’m going to go dig them out and turn them into magnets 😀 Thanks for sharing!
Love it! I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with our buttons when we went for our honeymoon. I was thinking somehow i could scrapbook them but this is a way better idea!!

What a FUN idea for any kind of button!
That’s a perfect idea. To bad I didn’t see this before I went to Disneyland so I could have bought more buttons. Just got back a few days age.
Sharing!

What a cute idea!!!
Great idea! Pinning 🙂
What a great idea to always keep those memories close!
Wish I had seen this idea before we lost the buttons 🙁
What a sweet memory! I can add their ages to their Birthday Buttons. Thank you!
Now that I’m thinking back, my mom used to do this with buttons when I was little. Never realized that most of the magnets on our fridge were originally magnets! Love this idea and will definitely be turning our Disney buttons into magnets for the fridge. Love it!
This is such I great idea! We always end up with some many of these when we go to Disney, and I don’t want to throw them away so we have them in drawers. Now I can get them out of the drawer 🙂 Thanks!
This is such a cute idea! I’m gonna go buy some magnets now…. 🙂
Wow I never thought about doing that! I’ll have to do it with my husband’s just married button (I think mine is in storage right now).
This is an awesome tip! I’m going to do this!
Thanks for the tip. We did this with our pins. The kids love them
Why didn’t I ever think of that?! Such a good idea. Thanks.
